Hrithik Roshan reaches Mumbai Crime Branch office to record statement against Kangana Ranaut over email spat case

Mumbai Crime Branch's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) summoned actor Hrithik Roshan to record his statement on Friday. After this, Hrithik arrived at the Crime Branch office in Crawford Market a short while ago. The actor was summoned on Friday in connection with an e-mail case related to Kangana Ranaut. The 5-year-old case was transferred to CIU in December 2020.

Kangana on Friday called Hrithik Roshan her 'silly ex' yet again. Kangana had written on Twitter, "Duniya kahan se kahan pahunch gayi magar mera silly ex abhi bhi waheen hai usi modh pe jahan yeh waqt dobara laut ke nahi jane wala ... (The world has changed so much but my silly ex is still caught up in the moment to which the time will never return)."

In 2016, Hrithik filed an FIR against Kangana, according to which he received several 100 emails from 2013 to 2014. All these emails were sent from Kangana's ID. However, this case filed on behalf of Hrithik was against unknown, which was registered under Section 419 of IPC r / w 66 C and D. Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani had written a letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh questioning that no progress had been made in the investigation of the case yet. After this, it was transferred from cyber cell to CIU.
