Where is real-life Nalini Sriharan?

Nalini Sriharan, played by actress Anjana, is an LTTE operative who helped the group in killing then-PM Rajiv Gandhi. Nalini is accused of harboring two Sri Lankan women, Subha and Dhanu, who were members of the LTTE s*icide squad, in her Chennai residence prior to the assassination.  Furthermore, Nalini accompanied the conspirators and LTTE mastermind Sivarasan to the political rally in Sriperumbudur, indicating she was involved in the groundwork.

In 2020, Nalini Sriharan, her husband Murugan a.k.a. Sri Haran and other convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case were released. alini Sriharan, her husband Murugan, and Santhan, Robert Payas and Jayakumar, were sentenced to life imprisonment but were released after 31 years. 

In May 2020, the Supreme Court had used its extraordinary powers to free one of the seven convicts, AG Perarivalan. The same order applied to the rest, the court said on November 11. It noted that the Tamil Nadu cabinet had recommended to the Governor in 2018 that the convicts be freed, and the Governor was bound by that.
