PunjabCongress in-charge Harish Rawat has ended the meeting with Chief MinisterCaptain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday amid the discord in the state Congress.After this, Harish Rawat said that the displeasure of the ministers and MLAshas been conveyed to the Captain, he will remove it. In a direct message toPargat Singh and other leaders of the Sidhu camp who were questioning hisrights, Rawat said that he is the face of Congress President Sonia Gandhi inPunjab.
Meanwhile,the big thing is that when Rawat met Captain in Chandigarh, Punjab CongressPresident Navjot Sidhu has reached Delhi. Whom he is going to meet there, itwas not clear but Rawat himself confirmed it. Harish Rawat said that the18-point agenda of the high command has been discussed with the Captain. In whichthe Chief Minister asserted that work is being done on all these issues. Now onThursday, he will make a complete report and give it to the Congress highcommand.

Power Agreement: Thereare also some legal aspects to the cancellation of power agreements. Theagreement between the two states has been approved by the Center and on thisbasis further agreements have been signed. He has told the Captain that byputting pressure on the companies, common people must be given relief. ThePunjab government should give cheap electricity to the common people evenbefore the elections. Rawat expressed hope that soon the people of Punjab wouldget a big relief.
AgriculturalReform Act: Harish Rawat said that there has been a discussion with the Captainregarding this. He has been asked to meet the Governor again and put emphasison this matter, so that through this we can assure the farmers that the wholecountry is with them.
Drug Issue:Harish Rawat said that the Punjab government has done a great job incontrolling drugs menace. However, one person is surviving due to the matterbeing in the High Court. The Captain has been asked to place the matter beforethe High Court and take this fight to a decisive point. He did not name anyonebut Navjot Sidhu has often been raising cases against Akali leader BikramjitSingh Majithia.
Bus Permit: Rawatsaid that in Punjab, there has been a talk with the Captain regarding buspermits. They have been asked to take action on this also.

HarishRawat defended the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi regarding the renovation ofJallianwala Bagh. He said that Rahul Gandhi has raised basic questions so thatthe right message of these historical monuments goes to the people.
