Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday announced Charanjit Singh Channi as the CM face of Congress in Punjab during his virtual rally in Ludhiana. Punjab Congress Chief accepted his decision and gave best wishes to Channi.
Navjot Singh Sidhu while addressing the public said that he has never lived for any post. Claiming himself as ‘Punjab ka Aashiq’, said that he would selflessly work for this state and try to provide better living conditions to the people of Punjab.
He said this time he won’t let himself become a ‘Darshini Ghodha’ for Congress, rather be an ‘Arbi Ghodha’ and still win the race even if he is at its weakest point.
Sidhu said, “If I will get the power to make decisions for the party, I assure you the elimination of mafias from Punjab and will provide better living conditions to all Punjabis.”
