At a time when the model code of conduct has been enforced in India by the Election Commission of India (ECI), miscreants continue to carry out their crimes. On Saturday, at least three robbers robbed an ICICI bank branch situated on the Tarn Taran road in Amritsar. As per the information received, the robbers arrived on an Activa Scooty and pointed their gun straight at the cashier forcing him to hand over the cash.
To be precise, the ICICI Bank branch that was robbed is located near Dharam Kanta on Tarn Taran Road, Amritsar. The incident was captured on CCTV. Notably, at the time when the thieves entered the bank, there was no security guard outside the bank. After the incident, the police reached the spot and assured that the thieves would be traced within a few hours. According to the police officer, they have CCTV footage and other evidence, and based on this the thieves will be caught soon.
