The Punjab Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra's resignation has been demanded by the Indian Medical Association after he was seen forcing the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences' Vice Chancellor Dr. Raj Bahadur to lie down on a dirty hospital mattress. The incident took place on Friday. Following the incident, VC Raj Bahadur submitted his resignation at late night.
The videos of the incident are getting viral on social media. Showing protest against it, Indian Medical Association(IMA) stated, "Indian Medical Association strongly condemns the derogatory action by the Punjab Health Minister who humiliated Dr. Raj Bahadur, Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid Universirty of Health Sciences on 29th July 2022. It is not only humiliation for the Vice Chancellor Dr. Raj Bahadur, but the entire Medical Fraternity across India has been insulted."

IMA has demanded an apology and resignation from Heath Minister for his misbehavior and appealed to CM Mann to intervine and take necessary action against the minister.
