Bollywood actor Imran Khan and Avantika Malik married in 2011 after dating for years. Imran was dating Avantike since his college days. During his Bollywood debut days, Imran did not shy of talking about his girlfriend Avantika. However, after their marriage, things started to go differently. It was reported that Imran and Avantika used to get in a lot of fights and therefore they both decided to end their marriage.
However, a recent report of Bollywood Hungama induces an affair angle. Going by the reports of the Bollywood Hungama, Avantika and Imran parted their ways due to the presence of another woman in Imran's life. The news agency quoted a source close to both Avantika and Imran, who said, "Imran and Lekha have been seeing each other for some time. Lekha's husband Pablo Chatterji and Imran were close buddies but a roaring affair between the two started without anyone's knowledge. In fact, after Avantika moved out of the bungalow, Imran has started introducing Lekha to his circle as well. This has also brought Lekha's marriage on the brink of a breakdown. Both the families are completely scattered at this point."

The report also stated that Imran has also rented or bought a place for Lekha near his residence. The report quoted a neighbour who said, "Lekha can be spotted going in and out of the building in the wee hours. It is very close to his own house at Pali Hill, Bandra. Imran is waiting for the divorce to come through to announce this new relationship."
While Imran is wanting for his divorce, Avantike often shares cryptic posts on relationships on her social media.
