The country is still recovering from the devastation made by the ongoing second wave of coronavirus and experts have already warned the authorities about the inevitable third wave ofcoronavirus.

The main key to prepare for the third wave is vaccination and thus the Centre is providing free vaccines to people above 18 years in India from June 21, 2021. Besides, walk-in registrationis also facilitated which means now people don’t have to pre-register themselves. They can just walk into the vaccination center and get themselves registered there.

People are advised to administer vaccine jabs. If you have already administered your first jab or are fully vaccinated government issues a vaccination certificate that carries all thebasic details such as name, age, gender and details of the vaccination like the date of first dose and the next one.

These vaccination certificates can be downloaded online from Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network/ CoWIN and Aarogya Setu app. You can also download the certificate from UMANG and Digi-lockerapps. 

Here’s how you can download your Covid 19 vaccination certificate from the CoWIN portal.

Visit the cowin portal- https://www.cowin.gov.in/. Then click on the sign-in/register option. Sing-in by using your registered mobile number. Enter the one-time password or OTP and once you log in, there will be a certificate tab under your name. Click on the download buttonand you will get a soft copy of the vaccination certificate.

Download vaccination certificate from Aarogya Setu app

Open the app and ensure your Bluetooth is on. Sign in using your mobile number. Click on the Cowin tab at the top. After that enter your 13 digit beneficiary reference ID after clickingon the vaccination certificate option. Click on the download button and you’ll get your vaccination certificate.

Download vaccination certificate from Digi-locker app

Open the Digi-locker app and register using personal details like name, address and adhar number. Go to the health section, then click on the ministry of health and family welfare. Selectthe vaccine certificate option, enter the 13 digit reference ID then download your vaccine certificate.

Download vaccination certificate from UMANG app

To download the vaccine certificate via UMANG App, login into app and click on Co-Win in the 'All Services' section. Select 'Download vaccination Certificate and registeror login using the registered mobile number and OTP. Confirm beneficiary name in the tab. Click on Download PDF copy and you will get the vaccine certificate.
