Income Tax Department on Tuesday conducted araid at the residence of Shiromani Akali Dal leader and party MLA fromMullanpur Dakha, Manpreet Singh Ayali. More than 60 personnel of Income Taxdepartment reached village Ayali at 6 AM today.
Income tax teams are present in the house aswell as in the farmhouse and all the offices and are being checked regularly. Centralsecurity forces are deployed around the residence of Ayali.
During 2017 state Assembly elections, HSPhoolka from Aam Aadmi Party won the elections from Dhaka Constituency. Lateron, he resigned from the post. Due to which a by-election was conducted inwhich SAD Leader Manpreet Singh Ayali became the MLA, defeating Sandeep Sandhu.
His name is once again nominated for thePunjab Assembly elections scheduled to be held next year.
