Bangladesh has been shot out for 150. Barring resistances from Mushfiqur Rahim and captain Mominul Haque, Bangladesh had nothing to show for after opting to bat on a green top. India pacers, especially Mohammed Shami, were on top of their mark as they showcased why they are regarded among the best. R Ashwin chipped in with 2 important wickets as well as India came up with a complete effort in Indore.

India's premier off-spinner R Ashwin on Thursday became only the 3rd Indian bowler to reach the landmark of 250 Test wickets at home. As soon as Ashwin dismissed Mominul Haque for 37 in the 1st Test vs Bangladesh in Indore, the spinner joined stalwarts Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh as the only other Indians to have picked 250+ wickets in India.

While Kumble leads the list with 350 Test wickets in India, Harbhajan Singh is not too far from Ashwin, having picked up 265 scalps at home. Also, claiming the 250th home wicket in his 42nd match at home, Ashwin is now the joint-fastest bowler to the milestone in the world, sharing the record with Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan. Anil Kumble (43 matches) was the previous owner of the record for India.
