India defeated England by 157 runs in fourth Test at The Oval to take a 2-1 series lead in the five- match series. This is the first time since 1986 that India have won two matches in a Test series in England. India had set a target of 368 for England despite trailing them by 99 runs in the first innings.

Chasing 272, England were bowled out for 120 in 51.5 overs with skipper Joe Root top-scoring with 33.
