As the show nears its conclusion, Indian Idol 12 appears to be mired in scandal after controversy. However, the show's creators and host, Aditya Narayan, aim to avoid criticism and concentrate on the task at hand.

The singing reality programme was thrust into the spotlight after Amit Kumar alleged that the Indian Idol 12 staff urged him to praise the competitors despite their poor vocal abilities. Salim Merchant, a music composer, recently revealed how he had a similar request when appearing on a variety of reality shows throughout the years.

“Everyone offering remarks on being convinced to be nice about Indian Idol participants are colleagues and friends,” Aditya Narayan remarked. Let me assure them that as long as I'm hosting Indian Idol, no one here needs to applaud anyone just for the sake of praising them. Come to our event and bless us by being yourself and saying whatever you want. I just speak for myself.I can't speak for past seasons because the team and production were completely different.”

Aditya Narayan stated that charges of doctored judgement on the show had no effect on him. “Our producers Sony, Fremantle, and TCT, as well as the entire crew, are ecstatic with the current season's popularity and success. This is the most popular reality show in the last ten years. That is what we want to concentrate on. We'd prefer not dwell on the negative, ” he continued.

Season 12 of Indian Idol is coming to an end shortly. Aditya added they want to end the show with "love and positivity" in the final four weeks.

Aditya also revealed his intentions for the grand finale of Indian Idol 12. He revealed that all of the show's judges, as well as notable representatives of the music and film industries, will return.
