Reportedly, around seven months ago, audio of Arsh Dalla went viral on social media in which he threatened Kamal Kaur and blamed her for spoiling the youth of Punjab with her dirty and inappropriate videos.

Who is Arsh Dalla?

According to certain reports, Dalla was born in 1996 in Moga, Punjab. He completed his 10th standard from a private school in Moga and studied class 11th and class 12th at a government school.

Notably, the first FIR was lodged against him after he had a fight with his friend in Moga, and following this, his family sent him to Canada on a study visa. Later, he returned to Punjab after he had a dispute with gangster Sukha Lamme, who was killed in June 2020.

Kamal Kaur, a resident of Ludhiana, had gained popularity and also notoriety for her controversial and explicit Instagram reels. She had amassed a following of 386,000 followers on the platform. As per reports, around seven months ago, the influencer received death threats from terrorist Arsh Dalla over her obscene content.

What happened to Kamal Kaur?

As per the information received, Sandeep Singh, a volunteer from Sahara Jan Seva Sanstha, reported receiving a call on Wednesday night regarding a suspicious foul smell coming from a parked car in the hospital lot. Upon arriving at the scene, he found a locked Hyundai Eon vehicle, and inside was the decomposed body of a woman. Police were called to the scene and, upon unlocking the car, found a handbag and purse but no identification documents.

Reports further suggest that Police officer Narinder Singh, who arrived at the spot, stated that the car had reportedly been parked there since Tuesday. Preliminary investigation suggests that the murder may have taken place elsewhere, and the body was then dumped at the hospital parking lot. CCTV footage is being reviewed, and a post-mortem examination is expected to provide more clarity.

What did the CCTV footage show?

The incident was recorded in a CCTV camera, which has been installed in the hospital parking. As per the footage, an Eon car stopped in a car parking lot at around 5:33 am on June 10. A Sikh youth got out of the car while talking to someone on the phone and then went to the parking lot.

A few minutes later, the man came towards the car and asked someone (sitting inside the car) to park it. About two and a half minutes later, the youth came out and walked out of the parking space.

Neetu, Kanchan's sister, added that the family had no idea anything had gone wrong until they got the call. "We had no idea something was wrong. It was only after we received the call that we were informed about Kanchan's death in Bathinda," she said, her voice shaking. "She used to be very active on social media. We are three sisters and two brothers. One of the sisters is married. We are all in shock.

Left Home to Have Her Car Repaired

Neetu also added that Kanchan had left for Bathinda, telling her that she had to have her car repaired and told her she had a number of friends there. "Our mother attempted to call her at around 11 PM on Tuesday night, but her phone was turned off. That's when we started worrying," she stated.

No Enemies in your Knowledge, No Suspicion Yet

According to the family, Kanchan never indicated anything troubling. There were no recent arguments or signs of distress. “We don’t suspect anyone at this point. The police are investigating, and we’re waiting for answers,” Neetu added.

The Backbone of the Family

In describing Kanchan as the backbone of their family, Neetu reported, "She was not married and looked after the whole family. She did not say much, but we trusted her blindly. She used to go out of town frequently, and nothing was unusual about it. Only God knows what took place."
