IPL 2020 Final: After Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer accomplishes 500 runs this season

IPL 2020 final match is being played in UAE between two beasts i.e Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer decided to bat first and has set the target of 157 for Rohit Sharma led Delhi Capitals. 

Notably, IPL is happening amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and the season has been able to grab the nation's attention quite a lot. 

Batting in the first innings, DC skipper Shreyas Iyer recorded his second IPL 2020 half-century and also completed 500 runs in this season of the Indian Premier League.

However, Iyer scripts this record after Shikhar Dhawan (618), the only batsman from DC has crossed the 500 mark in IPL 2020. 

Currently, Shreyas Iyer is the 4th in the top run-scorers list after KL Rahul (670), Shikhar Dhawan (618) and David Warner (548).
