In a massive development, BJP Parliamentary Panel member and National Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura's son Ajayveer Singh Lalpura was attacked on Friday night when he was en route to Ropar from Chandigarh. Ajayveer Singh, who is MD of Dhillion Aviation, which helps in the evacuation of CRPF and other security forces injured in Naxal attacks in Chattisgarh, was stopped at Rupnagar highway by the miscreants at gunpoint. Luckily, a PCR van arrived at the spot which forced the miscreants to flee from the spot.

Notably, Ajayveer Singh Lalpura spoke exclusively to True Scoop and stated that the mining mafia might be behind this attack. Ajayveer stated he had visited an illegal mining spot at Rupnagar and pointed out that his father Iqbal Sing Lalpura had served a notice to Punjab Government over the ongoing illegal mining in the state two days back. Ajayveer further revealed that he was attacked by armed miscreants around 9:30 PM (IST).

Notably, Ajayveer further informed that the Police has registered an FIR and the nabbed culprit is a nephew of a former Aam Aadmi Party MLA. The miscreants have been identified as Jaspreet Singh and Jaskaran Singh. It is being told that Jaskaran Singh is the nephew of former AAP MLA Amarjit Singh Sandoa. The police administration is being demanded that the accused be arrested soon.
