Vishal Bharadwaj-directorial Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley is a fictional story based on a murder-mystery novel titled The Sittaford Mystery written by Agatha Christie. Going by the trailer, Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley revolves around the murder of a rich man named Brig. Meharbaan Singh Rawat played by Gulshan Grover and there are multiple suspects. However, it will be Charlie Chopra, played by Wamiqa Gabbi who has to unravel the mystery of Solang in order to prove her brother's innocence. Agatha Christie's The Sittaford Mystery

As per the information available, The Sittaford Mystery is a work of detective fiction by British writer Agatha Christie, first published in the US by Dodd, Mead and Company in 1931 under the title of The Murder at Hazelmoor and in the UK by the Collins Crime Club on 7 September of the same year under Christie's original title. It was the first Christie novel to be given a different title for the US market. As the concept already discussed above, the novel was a murder mystery based in Sittaford,a tiny village on the fringe of Dartmoor. Notably, True Scoop News has decided not to discuss much about the novel's storyline as the series is yet to be released.

Actor Wamiqa Gabbi was quoted by a newswire saying, "I was meeting Vishal sir almost every second day. We were doing script reading, working on characters as much as possible and holding Zoom meetings with women detectives in India. I saw a lot of detective films. Charlie Chopra is an adaptation but Agatha Christie's book has western culture and characters. Vishal sir has done its Indian adaptation. India has several cultures so we can't be one-shade characters. All the characters of this film are multi-shaded...Core might be the same but characters are very different..."
