2023 is turning out to be a massive year for sequels as multiple movies and series are breaking the internet and box office after their release. For instance, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Asur 2, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, The Nun 2 and many more, the sequels of the movies and series have been forcing people to head to the theaters or watch the series on OTT platforms. Talking about sequels, Mirzapur 3 is among the most-awaited series people have been waiting for. Almost three years after Mirzapur 2 depicted the end of beloved Munna Bhaiya played by Divyendu, Amazon Prime Video is all set to welcome Mirzapur 3 on its platform. While many reports suggested that Mirzapur 3 release date might be in September 2023, Prime Video has dropped a major hint on it.
Amazon Prime Video on Saturday posted a picture of Guddu Bhaiya played by Bollywood actor Ali Fazal quoting his iconic dialogue 'Ab Humko Chahiye Izzat'. As soon as Prime Video shared picture of Mirzapur, fans bombarded the streaming giant's comment section. Many of them asked about Mirzapur Season 3 release date. Not only this, but a few of them also revealed Mirzapur Season 3 OTT release date. A user wrote, "Ab humko chaiye Mirzapur season 3 " Another user wrote, "When it is coming??" Responding to this query, a user wrote, "This October". Again the user asked, "then why its trailer is not released yet?" One more user revealed Mirzapur 3 expected release date and wrote, "10 October release date."
It is pertinent to mention here that there are tons of speculations revolving around the Mirzapur 3 release with many reports suggesting that the hit crime drama will be released in September which is not highly unlikely. Notably, neither the makers nor the streaming giant has revealed the Mirzapur 3 release. However, it is expected that Mirzapur 3 will be released in October 2023. Notably, if it turns out to be true then, Mirzapur 3 is walking on the path of Jawan's makers who released the movie's trailer just a week before its theatrical release. Therefore it can be said that Prime Video may release the Mirzapur 3 trailer a week before it is slated to be released on the OTT platform.

What happened in Mirzapur 2?
Mirzapur 2 ended with Guddu Bhaiya and Golu avenging the death of Bablu who was killed by Munna Bhaiya in season 1. Although Ali Fazal successfully dethroned Kaleen Bhaiya played by Pankaj Tripathi from his arms empire in Mirzapur, he was not killed and rescued by Sharad Shukla who is the son of Rati Shankar. Rati Shankar was killed by Guddu Pandit in the first season of Mirzapur. Mirzapur 3 is likely to depict Guddu Pandit ruling the city as the new lord, and Kaleen Bhaiya may be back to reclaim his throne and avenge the death of his son Munna Tripathi.
