18-year-old local equestrian Jai Sud brought laurels to the city by striking a goldmedal at the Junior National Equestrian Championship, held at Army Polo andRiding Club, New Delhi from December 20 to 30.
Asper information, Jai participated in the three events namely Eventing, Dressageand Show Jumping, in which he won gold medal as an individual as well team inthe Eventing, silver medal in the Dressage and fourth position in the showjumping under one meter category.
Astudent of Mayo College, Ajmer, Jai Sud, has been an ardent rider since the ageof 12, informed Gaurav Sud, father of Jai. In conversation with the True Scoop,he said that Jai has won various school-level, national and among riding eventsand that he has his own horses, which were specially imported for him from foreignlands.
Anall rounder, Jai, has further plans to move to London for higher studies.Besides, he has plans to continue participating in more national and internationalchampionships to add more into his medal tally, his father informed.
