Jalandhar: Congress leader’s son mistaken to be a gangster shot at by the police

The minor son of a prominent Congress politician was sitting in Thar with blacked out windows which the police suspect of belonging to a gangster

In bizarre and harrowing news from Jalandhar, the Police reportedly opened fire at a Congress leader’s son mistaking him to be a gangster. According to reports, the Congress leader’s minor son, was sitting along with a minor girl in a Mahindra Thar with blacked out windows. The police suspected a gangster to be travelling in the car and ordered him to stop but he instead drove away panicked, prompting the police to open fire. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

 

According to reports, late at night, outside the Park Manila Resort on Phagwara Chandigarh Road, the police of Behram police station opened fire on the son of a Congress leader who was sitting with a girl in a Thar. It is being told that the police opened fire on him mistaking him to be a gangster. It is fortunate that he narrowly escaped during this accident.

 

Source say that the Bahiram police station had received information that a black glass Thar was parked near Park Manila Resort on Phagwara bypass, in which possible was transporting gangsters. Considering the recent diligent action against organised, the police promptly rolled out to confirm the information. When the police party tried to surround the car, the driver drove away. There was a roadblock ahead, which the driver smashed through. After that the police were forced to shoot at the tire of the car.

 

They opened the car door revealing the Congress leader's minor son sitting with a minor girl. Both of them had come here without informing the family, due to which they were scared. The police took both of them to the police station, where they were later handed over to the family.
