The case pertains to DAVIET College, Jalandhar where two groups of students clashed last night. The quarrel between the student groups escalated to such an extent that two youths fell from the third floor during the fight. One of the students died on the spot while the other was rushed to a private hospital.

According to sources, the deceased student has been identified as Kishan Kumar Yadav and the injured student has been identified as Pawan Kumar. Both the students are from Bihar. The cause of the dispute is yet to be ascertained.
