Jalandhar DC inaugurates free online coaching course to 250 girls’ students for competitive exams

Exhorts girls to focus on their preparedness and become successful

In a bid to help deserving girls prepare for the competitive exams, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori today inaugurated free online coaching classes under ‘Beti Padhao-Beti Bachao’ campaign.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony held at administrative complex, the deputy commissioner said that it was a matter of great pride and satisfaction that a large number of girls were scaling new heights in every field. 

He said as many as 250 girls have registered themselves for the course in which they would be taught by experts virtually daily. Deputy Commissioner said under course, the administration will provide the coaching to these girls for various competitive exams including banking Sector exams, and  government jobs examinations. He further added that students could personally visit the centre in case of any problem.

He said that education was the only key for success for the girls and they must pursue such course for empowering them to ensure well-being of society. 

He said that today the country was moving towards right direction as more and more number of girls students were getting education and making their families proud. 

The Deputy Commissioner called upon girls students to take optimum benefit the course which would help them to achieve new feats in future and they would be able to play a constructive role in the society. 

Extending best wishes to girls, he said that the girls were making our country proud by excelling in almost every arena.

On the occasion, District Program Officer Gurminder Singh Randhawa and others were present.
