In a shocking development, the DSP Dalbir Singh’s killer has been arrested. The police conducted a thorough investigation and examined the CCTV footage. When it was searched, the accused was caught in the camera installed near the Bus stand. Dalbir Singh can be seen getting into the E-rickshaw on the night before New Year. After watching the footage, the police swung into action and intensified the investigation and arrested the accused. The Police Commissioner will hold a press conference regarding this matter. The deceased Dalbir Singh was cremated yesterday after post-mortem.
He was reportedly shot by an auto rickshaw driver whose services he had employed. Sources reveal that the driver of the auto rickshaw that the DSP had paid to get to his home from the Bus Stand had shot him in the head. It was also revealed that killer had been arrested by the police on Wednesday morning.
DSP Dalbir Singh’s body was recovered on New year’s morning near the Basti Bawa Khel’s canal in Jalandhar. It was subsequently revealed that he was involved in a public disturbance case in a village wherein he opened fire on civilians, though no charges were laid. According to reports, on New Year's night, DSP Dalbir Singh had left his house with his 3 acquaintances. He was then dropped near the bus stand by his friends. From there, as has now come to light to light, he had employed the services of the auto driver who then subsequently shot and killed him.
