Jalandhar Encounter: 2 gangsters, 1 policeman injured in encounter with Lawrence Bishnoi's henchmen

An encounter took place between police and some miscreants near Nakhawale Bagh in Jalandhar on Sunday morning. It is reported that the two gangsters injured in the shooting along with a policeman, were affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. As soon as information about the incident was received, senior officers of Jalandhar City Police arrived at the crime scene. Sources reveal that the encounter took place inside Gulmohar Colony adjacent to Nakha Wale Bagh. The gangsters were revealed to be affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This area comes under Bhargava Camp police station. The injured policeman has been admitted for treatment.

 

According to initial information, the CIA team had gone to raid on the information of fugitives. During this, the accused opened fire on the police. The police fired back in retaliation, injuring the two gangsters. According to police sources, both of them are involved in gangster murder and ‘supari’ killing.

 

CIA incharge Surinder Singh Kamboj said that the accused are associated with Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police have taken 2 accused into custody. The accused were fugitives in several cases registered with Jalandhar City Police.

 

On Sunday morning, information was received that two accused were hiding at that place. Based on the information, the police cordoned off the spot. As soon as the accused saw the police, the accused opened fire. When the police retaliated, both the accused were injured. Police have recovered weapons and other items from the accused.
