In a violent hit-and-run, a speeding Endeavor car hit a couple riding an Activa near Shaktipeeth Shri Devi Talab Temple in Jalandhar, Punjab. A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced in which the entire incident was captured. The footage shows the accident happening following which the driver of the injured flees the scene, leaving the injured writhing on the floor
Injured Satish Kalra and his wife Meena Kalra are seriously injured with severe fractures and are currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
According to the information received, this incident happened around 4:15 in the morning. Satish Kalra was coming to Shri Devi Talab Temple riding on Activa with his wife. He had just reached the cow shed from the temple when the oncoming Endeavor caught him.
A person going to the market late at night immediately came to the couple’s rescue. With the help of people, he took the couple to the hospital.
