Shocking news has come to the fore from Jalandhar where five family members of the same family were set on fire on Monday. Reportedly, the accused set his wife, children and wife’s parents ablaze in intoxication.
According to the information provided by the sources, it has been revealed that Paramjit Kaur got married around 8 ears ago to her first husband who passed away a few years back. Post the death of her first husband, Surjan Singh, Paramjit’s father got her daughter second time married to the accused. Paramjit Kaur has two kids from her first marriage, Arshdeep Kaur and Gurmohal. After getting married to Kalu, she took both her children along and started staying with him.
Kalu was not able to accept both the kids and this became a point of quarrel between the couple. The accused has been identified as Kalu who was a drug addict and used to beat his wife along with children under the influence of intoxicants.
Sometime back, Paramjit along with her children came back to her parent’s house in Madhepur. The incident took place last night when accused Kalu came to his in-laws’ house and under the influence of drugs sprinkled petrol on all the family members who were asleep and locked the door from outside after setting all 5 members on fire.
The deceased have been identified as wife (Paramjit Kaur), son (Gurmohal), daughter (Arshdeep), mother-in-law (Jangidro) and father-in-law Surjan Singh.
