Taking a big action, Jalandhar Municipal Corporation has sealed 21 shops in Sanjay Gandhi Market. The Municipal Corporation has made a list of all such people in the city, who, instead of doing their business by taking shops from the corporation, have further given the shops to other people on hefty rent.
The officers of the corporation have started action as per the guidelines received after meeting with AAP MLAs recently. Coming into action mode, the municipal officials started the work of sealing off in Jalandhar West assembly constituency first. According to the notice pasted by the officials of the corporation after the sealing, the construction of the building has not been done according to the map. There is no space left for parking. Stairs have been made in place of ramps. Putting many such objections on the showroom, a government seal has been affixed on it.
