The students alleged that the professor had attempted to rape students in exchange for passing their examinations. They also accused the professor of sexual harassment.

Director Vinod Kumar Kanojia said that the institute had received a complaint from the female department. The woman commissioner had launched an inquiry into the matter. Based on the inquiry’s report, the Board of Governance was recommended the appropriate action. After investigation from all angles, this decision was made.

He further explained that the complainer had registered the complaint about 15 days ago in the woman’s cell of the institute. The investigation was an intricate process due to which it took this long to take this action. They took the testimonies of both the parties and collected the relevant evidence from the female complainer.

He further reveals that there were 2 girls who filed the complaint. All parties involved were of the MBA division including the accused. The director said that the victims were in direct communication with the committee.
