Jalandhar Police nabs the murderer in the suitcase dead body case, killed his roommate in an affair with a lady

Earlier in the day, the railway police released CCTV footage that showed the man who left the suitcase at the station, which helped in expediting the manhunt

A day later when a red-colored suitcase with the dead body in it was found outside Jalandhar railway station left abandoned by a person, the railway police administration along with the investigating party resolved the matter after releasing the CCTV footage of the man who left the suitcase outside the station premises.

The footage led to the expedition in the manhunt and was nabbed earlier today following the clue. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shamim who belongs to Katihar in Bihar and was murdered by his fellow roommate Mohammad Ishfaq in an affair with a woman.

Both used to work in a factory in Gadaipur. Mohammad Shamim had an affair with a woman in Gadaipur where both used to share a room. He also had relations with the woman.

But, Shamim's friend Mohammad Ishfaq also liked the lady with whom he was already in relation. He also wanted to have a relationship with her. Following, this led to an argument between both of them which escalated leading to the murder of Md. Shamim.

After killing Shamim, Ishfaq stuffed his dead body in a trolley suitcase and brought it to the railway station for disposal. Here he was caught in the CCTV cameras installed around the station and caught, which was released by the railway police officials.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that the investigating party is yet to make an official announcement in the case, and the team consisting of GRP DSP Om Prakash, and SHO Ashok Kumar among others can come up with further details on the matter by calling a press conference soon.
