A shocking incident took place in Lambra district, Tower Enclave Phase 3 of Jalandhar where three tragic murders took place.

 

According to the reports, Harmanpreet Singh, the other son of the family shot his mother, father and brother with his father's gun. The victims have been identified as Jagbir Singh (father), Amritpal Kaur (Mother) and Gagan (Brother). The tragic incident was triggered by a property dispute in the family.

 

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kartarpur, Balbir Singh shared that Harmanpreet fired multiple rounds from his father’s authorized.22 caliber rifle. He targeted his father’s chest, his mother’s neck and then his brother’s chest. Unfortunately all three victims shot dead on site.

 

During the investigation DSP Balbir Singh also revealed that there had been a property dispute within the family, for some time which led to this horrifying act resulting in the loss of his family members.

 

After committing the murder, Harmita fled from the crime scene. Police have received information that he may be hiding nearby.

 

In response, law enforcement agencies has set up search and stop teams. The escape of Harmanpreet is currently under investigation, with the aim of bringing the victims to justice.
