In harrowing news, a girl in Jalandhar was robbed of her phone on the street on Tuesday evening. The entire incident was caught on CCTV. As per reports, the phone snatching incident occurred in a posh Jalandhar area of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Avenue in Punjab. The robbers came on a bike and fled after snatching the girl’s phone.
As per information received, the woman was returning back to her home when this incident took place. According to the information, 2 people came riding on a Splendor motorcycle and tried to inquire about an address. While the woman was telling them the way, man sitting at the back pushed her, stole her phone and fled.
According to the police, they have received the CCTV footage of the incident. However, no official complaint has been lodged with the police yet. But the police have started an investigation on the basis of the footage. The robbers are currently being identified and will soon be arrested, the police say.
