Drugs-in-Punjab Drug-free-Punjab Jandiala-Guru
Punjab's youth is facing drug addiction. For many years, there have been only two governments in Punjab, the Akali Dal government and the Congress. Both the governments made big claims to the public but they could not get rid of the drugs.

The people then brought the Aam Aadmi Party to power with a big majority, but the situation is not improved yet. This government also made big claims about ending drugs and unemployment, but the conditions of the state are deteriorating. In many areas, drugs are being sold openly. This includes the name of Jandiala Gurus' area, Shekhupura.

Fearless from the government and the police administration, the children of this locality protested at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk. The children studying in the school while talking to the media said that the drug addicts come to the area at around 8 in the morning and then stay there at around 9-10 at night. Wherever they see an empty place, sit there and start taking drugs.

Asked about that police's action they revealed that the police take money from them and let them go. We only demand from the government that drugs should be eradicated. Because now even children of our age are addicted to it. The youth of Punjab have come under its grip. At least save our childhood. We appeal to the government to make Punjab drug-free.
