Jullundhar Gymkhana Club’s elections aregoing to take place on 19th December this year. The two groups namely Achieversand The Progressive will be contesting elections for the post of Secretary,Joint Secretary, Vice-President and Treasurer.
On Thursday, Jalandhar’s prominentbusinessman Sumit Sharma praised his Achievers group for their outstanding contributions and work carried outby them in their previous term in which he was also part and especially, duringCovid times. He came in support of the Entire Achievers group.
Sharing his views, about the work done by theAchievers group, Sumit Sharma gave a statement that the Achievers group has done acommendable job. He will not nominate his name for the post of HonorarySecretary this year, rather, will support the Achievers group. Sumit Sharma saidthat he will discuss the issues which he feels need to be taken care ofwith the Achievers group and get them added in their elections manifesto.
On Wednesday, the Achievers group visitedBaba Murad Shah in the morning to offer prayers and seek blessings. After that,they visited Jullundhar Gymkhana Club and filed their nominations for theupcoming elections. A huge crowd came to support them during they filed theirnominations. With such enormous support by people, it is quite clear that the result of the elections can come in favour of the Achievers group.
The Achievers group members have unanimouslyannounced the panel of four candidates. The four members include Tarun Sikkafor Honorary Secretary, Amit Kukreja for Junior Vice-President, SPS Virk forTreasurer and Saurabh Khullar for the post of Joint Secretary.
Apart from these four candidates, theAchievers group has announced the names of executive members, which include Dr.Naresh Batla, Mr. Harpreet Singh (Goldy), Mr. Nitin Behl, Mr. Atul Talwar, Mr.Mohinder Singh and among others.
