Mistry
Premiering on JioHotstar from June 27, this mystery-comedy series, stars Ram Kapoor, the famous ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ actor will appear as an ex-cop, ‘Armaan Mistry’, who can solve any case with ease but battles with extreme OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) which makes his day-to-day life even more complicated. The series is officially confirmed to be an adaptation of the American series ‘Monk’, but promises to deliver a varied Indian perspective.
Special Ops season 2
With its first season gaining a massive audience popularity, this series is one of the most anticipated series on JioHotstar. Starring ‘Kay Kay Menon’ as ‘Himmat singh’, ‘Saiyami Kher’, and ‘Karan Tacker’ with ‘Prakash Raj’, ‘Tahir Raj Bhasin’ joining the cast, the trailer of season 2 released on May 15, hints at a bolder, bigger and more intense espionage thriller, with the team facing new challenges and threats. The release date has not been confirmed yet but it is anticipated to come out soon in 2025.
Ironheart
Based on the Marvel Comic character of the same name, ‘Ironheart’ is MCU’s upcoming television miniseries which shares continuity with the film of the franchise. Starring ‘Dominique Thorne’ as ‘Riri Williams’ and ‘Anthony Ramos’ as ‘Parker Robins’ and the storyline inspired from the ultimate superhero ‘Iron-Man’ this series revolves around Riri Williams who is a fifteen year old super-genius girl who crafted her own suit of advanced armor and leads a life full of adventure and challenges, and come to be known as ‘Ironheart’. Premiering on JioHotstar on June 25 this series is a must-watch for all Marvel fans.

Releasing on Prime Video from June 12 and episodes releasing every Thursday at 8:00 pm, packed with lies, crime, betrayal, and deception this psychological-thriller crime themed show stars ‘Karan Johar’ as the host with 20 star studded celebrities as players in this cutthroat championship of survival including, ‘Uorfi Javed’, ‘Jannat Zubair’, ‘Apoorva’, ‘Purav Jha’, ‘Maheep Kapoor’, and many more.
The Chosen: Last Supper S5
Season 5 of this religious and spiritual series ‘The chosen: Last Supper’ is all set to hit the OTT platform ‘Prime Video’ on June 15 after hitting the big screen. The show focuses on Jesus’ final days and has been gaining attention worldwide. The show will be released in three parts starting from June 15 on Prime Video.
We Were Liars
Based on the novel of the same name by author ‘E. Lockhart’, ‘We Were Liars’ is a mystery-thriller series following ‘Cadence Sinclair Eastman’ and her inner circle known as ‘The Liars’ who spend their summer vacation on a private island. However, after a mysterious incident that changed Cadence’s life, she struggles to piece together the events of that summer and tries to explore what secrets ‘the Liars’ have been keeping. The series will premiere on Prime Video on June 18.
Countdown
Starring ‘Jensen Hack’ as a supercop ‘Countdown’ is an American crime drama television series created and written by ‘Derek Haas’. It revolves around an LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) officer joining a secret task force to investigate a suspicious murder, but uncovers a sinister plot that requires the team to unite and save millions in the city. Releasing on June 25 on Amazon Prime Video.
Even though JioHotstar does not offer massive releases this June, it’s selective and high quality content has a high demand in the digital market. However viewers are both excited and intrigued by the loaded release slate of Prime Video and are eagerly waiting for the release of their favourite shows, movies and web-series.
