Junior Tendulkar all set to rock the pitch of MCA grounds

Out of many other teams who auctioned for Arjun, North Mumbai Panthers raised the highest bid of Rs.5 lakh

Cricket Lord aka the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar was picked up for T20 Mumbai League by Akash Tigers on Saturday.  Arjun, who is a budding left arm pacer and a batsman, was bided in for Rs. 5 lakh. Being good at balling and batting, he was chosen under the all rounder category under a base price of Rs.1 lakh.

The debutant cricketer has played unofficial U-19 tests for India. Out of many other teams who auctioned for Arjun, North Mumbai Panthers raised the highest bid of Rs.5 lakh, which is the maximum bid amount. Charu Sharma, who was conducting the auction, gave the two new teams -- Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburb and Eagle Thane Strikers -- an option to exercise OTM (Opportunity to Match).
