Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Friday shared her video on her social networking sites and talked about the various cases slapped against her. Kangana addressed the Supreme Court of India and the 'Nationalists' of India on the torture she has been going through ever since she has started talking for the betterment of India.
Kangana shared the video and demanded answers from the apex court and the nation. She wrote, "Why am I being mentally, emotionally and now physically tortured? I need answers from this nation.... I stood for you it’s time you stand for me ...Jai Hind."
In her video, Kangana said, "From the day I have started talking for the betterment of the country, I am being harassed, getting tortured entire country is seeing that. My house was destroyed illegally. Every day numerous cases are being filed against me for talking about farmer's betterment. In fact, I have been sued for laughing as well. My sister Rangoli raised her voice for the harassment of doctors during the early days of the pandemic. A case was also filed against her. In that case, my name was also given but in reality, I was not even on Twitter when such an incident happened. Our honorable Chief Justice also rejected that. Soon another order came that I have to go to Police Station to mark my attendance. Now no one is telling me what kind of attendance is this?"'
I have also been instructed to not share my own feelings, therefore I want to ask the Honorable Supreme Court that is this medieval age where the women are burnt alive? I cannot talk, I cannot share, this kind of torture is going in front of the nation. I want to say to people who are only watching this silently, that what struggles and tyrannies we have been through during the British Raj have to go again if the nationalists are restricted to speak."
