Kangana Ranaut revamps her parents' Mumbai home, says parents are more than happy

In her post, she also spoke about how her parents are fond of earthy tones when it comes to interiors.

Sharing a before and after look of her parents and brother Aksht’s Mumbai house, actress Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter on Sunday and posted the transformation pictures. Earlier, the actor said that she was setting up the place where her brother Aksht will be living with his wife Ritu.

In her post, she also spoke about how her parents are fond of earthy tones when it comes to interiors. She posted a video on how she transformed the house and drive it a new look with furniture in pastel and floral prints, a garden-themed balcony with a sitting area overlooking the city skyline.

The actress captioned the pictures as, "Ritu and I worked on transforming my parents Mumbai house, sharing before and after pictures, how my parents preferred and what she wanted, it was fun to work together with her on this, hope it inspires those who are interested in home decor. Before (parents liked more earthy) (sic)."


Kangana also posted a video of the transformed apartment. The video starts with an outdoor space and slowly moves indoors where you can see a beautifully done up living area. 

"After transformation video. Ritu preferred more glamorous with soft Victorian colours, my parents are more than happy that woman of the house took charge. Which style you prefer cause even earthy had its village old-world charm. Do tell me Slightly smiling face (sic)," she captioned the video.

 

Kangana had earlier shared a video to show how she was balancing her work while transforming the house in her free time. "After script sessions, edit discussions I ran to my brothers and bhabhi’s house which I am designing and will set it up till midnight now, a woman with nine hands is not a myth that’s like every woman ever," wrote Kangana.

Meanwhile, Kangana is busy with her trilingual film Thalaivi which will hit screens on April 23, which is the biography of former actress and Chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha. The film is directed by AL Vijay and also stars Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Madhoo and Bhagyashree. Apart from this, she will play a Sikh soldier in Tejas.
