Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s personalbodyguard, Kumar Hegde, has been found accused of rape and cheating by a Mumbaibased make-up-artiste. Reportedly, Mumbai Police has lodged an FIR againstKumar at DN Nagar Police Station.
The complainant has claimed that accusedKumar had raped her on the pretext of marriage and had also taken a sum ofRs50,000 from her before fleeing from the city.
According to the media reports, Kumar had met a victim make-up artist eight years ago and had proposed to her for marriage in2020. The victim has accused him of frequently coming over to her residence andforcing a sexual relationship with her on multiple occasions.
She has also alleged that Kumar on April 27took money from her and later fled to Karnataka. It was then only when the victimmet Kumar’s mother and realized that he is going to tie the knot of marriage withsomeone else.
During the meeting, Kumar’s mother had alsoasked the make-up artist to stay away from his son and not pressurize him for marriage.
Kumar Hegde has been booked under the IPC sections376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex), 420 (cheating)
It may be noted here, earlier Kangana’s formerhairstylist Allister De Gee was also held for abusing a minor. He was booked underthe Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
However, in Kumar’s case, Kangana is yet togive a statement. Kumar has been spotted with Kangana on many occasions and shehas often mentioned him like her family.
