Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s personal
bodyguard, Kumar Hegde, has been found accused of rape and cheating by a Mumbai
based make-up-artiste. Reportedly, Mumbai Police has lodged an FIR against
Kumar at DN Nagar Police Station.
The complainant has claimed that accused Kumar had raped her on the pretext of marriage and had also taken a sum of Rs50,000 from her before fleeing from the city.
According to the media reports, Kumar had met a victim make-up artist eight years ago and had proposed to her for marriage in 2020. The victim has accused him of frequently coming over to her residence and forcing a sexual relationship with her on multiple occasions.
She has also alleged that Kumar on April 27 took money from her and later fled to Karnataka. It was then only when the victim met Kumar’s mother and realized that he is going to tie the knot of marriage with someone else.

During the meeting, Kumar’s mother had also asked the make-up artist to stay away from his son and not pressurize him for marriage.
Kumar Hegde has been booked under the IPC sections 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural sex), 420 (cheating)
It may be noted here, earlier Kangana’s former hairstylist Allister De Gee was also held for abusing a minor. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
However, in Kumar’s case, Kangana is yet to give a statement. Kumar has been spotted with Kangana on many occasions and she has often mentioned him like her family.
