Kangana responds after reports state that BMC spent Rs 82 lakhs in legal fight against the actress

Reports say that the BMC has paid its representative lawyer SP Chinoy a big amount of Rs 82 lakhs till now and will be paying more for the further proceedings.

The BMC and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's fight is proving out too costly to the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Going by the reports of Maharashtra times, the BMC has already spent a whopping amount of Rs 82 lakhs in the legal fight against Kangana Ranaut. Reports say that the BMC has paid its representative lawyer SP Chinoy a big amount of Rs 82 lakhs till now and will be paying more for the further proceedings. 

BMC in its answer confirmed the reports and said that the municipal corporation till 22 September, paid SP Chinoy was paid Rs 22 lakh 50 thousand, and till 7 October, 60 lakh rupees, a total of 82 lakh 50 thousand has been given already. 

Interestingly, Kangana is seeking Rs 2 crore from the BCM for illegally demolishing her house turned office. Kangana on this gave her response on Twitter, "Muncipal Corporation so far spent 82 lakhs on lawyer for illegally demolition of my house, papa’s Pappu spending public money to tease a girl, this is where Maharashtra stands today, very unfortunate."
