After numerous talks failed to persuade the farmers, the agitation against the farmer's bill is still going on. It is not a hidden fact that Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is inclined towards the newly passed agriculture bill. Recently, the actress shared former JNU professor and major debate panelist Anand Ranganathan's take on farmers' protest.

In a debate in Times Now, Anand said, "Never have I seen anyone protesting after having all of his demands met. These protesters are embarrassing themselves. Congress are taking food to the farmers who are on hunger strike. Because these protests have been hijacked by the middlemen and the communists. Those so-called farmers who drive around in Lamborghini declare their annual income to Rs 610 crores. Congress, NCP, and the Kishan Union all wanted this bill but they are now crying because the Modi government brought this bill. You can't wake a person pretending to be asleep. Talk to the 94% of the 18 crores of the Indian farmers who do not avail of the APMC and are happy with the bill."
