A 21-year-old Bengaluru activist arrest has taken the entire country by storm. The young activist along with Nikita Jacob and Shantanu have been accused of creating the “toolkit document” and conspiring against the country and the government. Many opposition leaders have expressed their concerns about Disha’s arrest calling it a threat to democracy.

Former president of JNU student’s union and political leaders of the communist party of India expressed his concern on Twitter in a poetic manner taunting the government for its actions and attacking Amit Shah indirectly.

“Their children will become the president of BCCI and your children will be arrested for false cases. Their children will become officers in the name of merit without appearing for the exam and your children will wait for the exam for years. Anchor's child will study abroad and your child??, Kanhaiya wrote in Hindi.

Disha Ravi has been named in connection with the formulation and dissemination of Toolkit document relating to the ongoing farmers' protest which was also shared by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. She was one of the editors of the 'Toolkit' document.  The toolkit editors have collaborated with the pro-Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread hatred against the Indian State, said Delhi Cyber police.

However, Disha denied the allegations and said she only edited two lines and wanted to support farmers in their cause.
