Republic-Day-Violence Activist-Nikita-Jacob Disha-Ravi

Activist-lawyer Nikita Jacob one of the accused in Republic Day violence was contacted by Mo Dhaliwal, the founder of pro-Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation through his colleague Puneet, a Canadian citizen, to generate a storm on Twitter before Republic Day, repealed police sources. Toolkit google document case investigation has exposed a deeper conspiracy.

A zoom meeting was held before the Republic Day which was attended by MO Dhaliwal, Nikita and Disha, among others with a motive to create Twitter disturbance ahead of R-Day. They also spoke about the death of a farmer in the meeting, reports Hindustan Times.

On 11 February, Delhi Police Special Cell team had searched Nikita Jacob’s house and her electronic gadgets were examined, and was told that she would be questioned again, but wasn’t available since then.

Disha Ravi, 21, Bengaluru activist was arrested on Saturday and has been sent for five days of police custody, while a non-bailable warrant has been issued against activists Nikita Jacob and Shantanu. Three of them have been accused of conspiring against the government and nation.

Disha Ravi has been named in connection with the formulation and dissemination of Toolkit document relating to the ongoing farmers' protest which was also shared by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. She was one of the editors of the 'Toolkit' document.

"Disha Ravi is an editor of the Toolkit Google Document and a key conspirator in the document's formulation and dissemination. She started a WhatsApp group and collaborated to make the Toolkit doc. She worked closely with them to draft the Doc," tweeted Delhi Police.

The toolkit editors have collaborated with the pro-Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread hatred against the Indian State, said Delhi Cyber police.

Ravi later asked Thunberg to remove the main document after its incriminating details accidentally got into the public domain, said Delhi Police.

However, Disha denied the allegations and said she only edited two lines and wanted to support farmers in their cause.

FIR against unidentified persons in connection with the creators of the 'toolkit' has also been registered.
