In a sensational crackdown on the nexus between singers, gangsters, and travel agents, Anti Gangsters Task Force (AGTF) On Thursday arrested Punjabi singer Karan Aujla's manager Sharpy Ghuman and 8 others. The AGTF's action against Karan Aujla's associates comes after his video recently went viral in which he was seen singing at a wedding reception and Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi was also present during that. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol is among the accused in the sensational murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. A case has been lodged against all the 8 accused in Mohali. The majority of the 8 people arrested are travel agents. As per reports, Sharpy was arrested from Patiala. He is termed a close associate of singer Karan Aujla. Apart from managing Aujla, Sharpy's name also comes in organizing Kabaddi events. At present AGTF wants to interrogate him about Anmol. It is pertinent to mention here that Karan Aujla had already issued a clarification saying that he did not know about the presence of Larence Bishnoi's brother at the wedding and had appealed to the people to not float any conspiracy theory.

For the unversed, Anmol Bishnoi is wanted in connection with the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Sidhu Moosewala, Congress leader & Punjabi singer was killed in Mansa village in May 2022. Since then, police have been on the lookout for those responsible for the crime. While there are many who are already in Police custody, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol is yet to be arrested. After Karan Aujla's video with Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol went viral, the Punjabi singer had shared a detailed clarification. In his clarification, Aujla had written, "I didn't think I needed to but after seeing so many posts and messages I just want to clarify about an event on Sunday in Bakersfield, CA. As artists myself and Sharry Maan bai were booked to perform for a reception show as requested by our common friend. As an artist, we are not aware who is attending or invited to the wedding shows we are booked for, hence why I prefer not to do many wedding shows at all. It has been brought to my attention that a questionable individual was in the background of videos of me and sharry bai performing. I was not aware of whom that may be until saw these posts and messages"
Notably, along with Lawrence, his brother Anmol's name is also in the list of accused in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. As per reports, Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had helped Anmol to flee India from the Nepal route with the help of a fake passport. Ever since then, the Punjab Police are looking for Anmol and recently he was spotted in a wedding function in the USA where Karan Aujla was performing.
