Popular TV actor Pracheen Chauhan has been arrested by Kuraar police in the case of alleged molestation. The actor has played the role of Subroto Basu in Kausauti Zindagi Kay and has been featured in several daily soaps for over two decades now.
Reportedly, a woman in her early 20s has accused the actor of molesting her and filed a complaint against him. She claims that the actor touched her inappropriately at a house party at the actor’s resident.
The 22-year-old has stated that she was invited to a party at his residence two days back. The actor was drunk and tried to touch her inappropriately. The complainant is a known face in the same industry as Pracheen.
The police have taken the actor in custody from his house and an FIR has been filed under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

“The woman approached us and alleged that Pracheen Chauhan touched her inappropriately in an inebriated state,” said senior inspector Prakash Vele, Kurar police station.
Pracheen made his television debut in Ekta Kapoor's show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He was most recently seen as Abhimanyu in Shitty Ideas Trending's (SIT) online series Pyar Ka Punch.
