All, including celebrities like Sonu Sood, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, and Varun Dhawan, is attempting to step forward and assist the country during this time of crisis.

Gurmeet Choudhary, a television star, has also jumped on board and is assisting those in need. In Nagpur, Gurmeet has opened a makeshift hospital for COVID patients. In collaboration with Dr. Sayyed Wajahatali and his team, the Astha Dedicated COVID Hospital was built.


  

Gurmeet had earlier said that he wanted to set up 1000-bed hospitals in Lucknow and Patna as India battles the devastating second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.


The actor from 'Khamoshiyan' took to Twitter to share some photos from the hospital & wrote, “I am happy to announce the launch of a dedicated makeshift COVID care hospital in Nagpur in collaboration with Dr. Sayyed Wajahatali and team. Astha Dedicated Covid Hospital will work for the welfare of COVID victims." #CovidIndia #CovidHelp #COVIDEmergencyIndia.”


He told in an exclusive interview, "People told me it was unsafe to go to hospitals right now, but I needed to see the situation." Although I'm concerned about my own safety, I believe it's also important to ensure the safety of others. My team and I are collaborating with a number of hospitals around the country in order to provide beds. I've asked a couple of my business associates to assist me financially.I want to save as many lives as I can".

 Meanwhile, since the first COVID wave reached India, good Samaritan Sonu Sood has made significant contributions. He has been assisting people in any way he can, from airlifting Covid patients to supplying medications and oxygen cylinders. During difficult times, he has been dubbed a "messiah" by many.

Sonu Sood recently announced that he is bringing oxygen plants from France and other countries to be built in various locations across India. He is preparing the public for the pandemic's third wave and plans to construct at least four plants in the worst-affected COVID states, including Delhi and Maharashtra.
