The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has formed a government in Delhi with three historic victories in a row, is very serious about next year's Punjab Assembly elections 2022.

The Aam Aadmi Party contested the Assembly elections in Punjab for the first time in 2017 and emerged as the second-largest party in the state, winning 20 seats. Now the party has been dreaming of capturing power in Punjab, beating the Congress in next year's Assembly elections.

AAP believes that the people of Punjab are fed up with Akali Dal and now very upset with the Congress and will definitely give a chance to the Aam Aadmi Party for a change. Compared to the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Aam Aadmi Party is in a completely electoral mood.

Under this, the Aam Aadmi Party government in the Delhi Assembly on Friday passed a resolution in the House seeking repeal of the new laws at the Center. This is being considered by AAP as a major masterstroke for the Punjab Assembly elections 2022. Earlier, Kejriwal had announced 300 units of free electricity, now this is the second masterstroke. Both of them are being seen as a masterstroke to win elections in Punjab.

AAP strategists believe that if the party fights the elections in Punjab with proper spirit, it can come to power by ousting Congress. Meanwhile, on the second day of the monsoon session of the Delhi Assembly, the Aam Aadmi Party government passed a resolution in the House seeking repeal of three new central agriculture laws.

It is being said that in the Punjab elections, it is possible that Arvind Kejriwal will take the lead in the election campaign. He has won the Delhi Assembly elections three times in a row as the Aam Aadmi Party chief.

It may be recalled that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has already sounded the trumpet for next year's Punjab Assembly elections. Last month, the AAP chief made a big poll promise that if the Aam Aadmi Party wins in Punjab, every family would be given 300 units of free electricity every month.

Arvind Kejriwal also announced that it would benefit 80 percent of the people of Punjab and they would not have to pay any electricity bill. At the same time, they have announced a waiver of outstanding bills of domestic electricity consumers.
