Know 5 ways to check CBSE class 12th result if board’s official website goes down

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would declare the result of Class 12th on July 30 at 2 pm.

A few minutes are left for the declaration of the CBSE Class 12th result. Students are eagerly waiting for their results. Students can check their results on the official website of the board – cbseresult.nic.in. But many times the official website of CBSE crashes due to high traffic. 

To save you from such a situation, here are five substitute ways, from where you can check the Class 12th result:  

1) Web Portals: 

Students can check their result on the following links if the official website of the board crashes: 


      2) SMS:

      Students can check their results through SMS as well. For this, type cbse12 and send it to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number.

      3) Telephone and IVRS: 

      Students can also access their results through a telephone call or Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). For this, students have to call on the given number of the board. Delhi students can call on 24300699 to check the result and students from other parts of the country can check their results by dialing 011 – 24300699.  


      4) UMANG Application: 

      UMANG mobile portals or mobile applications would also host the result of class 12th. The student can download the application from Google PlayStore, Apple App Store.

      5) Digilocker:

      This year, the marks sheet of class 12th students would be available on Digilock. The Digilocker would also host the result of CBSE Class 12th. To access DigiLocker the Aadhaar card number and the mobile number associated with it will be used, the board has also introduced a face-recognition system. DigiLocker mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store.  

      To create an account on it, follow these steps: 

      • Visit the official website – www.digilocker.gov.in. 
      • Now enter your name and date of birth as per the Aadhaar card.
      • Enter your gender and mobile number.
      • Now set a 6 digit security pin.
      • Enter your Email ID and Aadhaar Number.
      • Create a username by uploading the information.
