In a massive exercise of emergency preparedness in the wake of the Pahalgam attack and heightened India-Pakistan tensions, Punjab will face controlled blackouts and siren alerts on May 7 in multiple cities. The objective? To make everyone aware of what to do during an actual emergency.

• Jalandhar: 8:00 PM–9:00 PM
• Ludhiana: 8:00 PM–8:30 PM
• Amritsar: 10:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Mohali: 7:30 PM – 7:40 PM
• Chandigarh: 7:30 PM–7:40 PM
• Pathankot: 10:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Gurdaspur & Batala: 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Faridkot: 10:00 PM
• Ferozepur: 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Fazilka: 10:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Barnala: 8:00 PM
• Bathinda: 8:30 PM–8:35 PM
• Tarn Taran: 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM
