Know in advance which areas of the city will remain without electricity today, as the power supply from Focal Point 1 and 2 substations will be suspended from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM due to scheduled maintenance.
According to the electricity department, power will remain off in the following 11 kV feeders: Shankar, Guru Nanak, Tower, Bulandpur Road, Drain, Raja Garden, Vivekanand, Ram Vihar, Satyam, Baba Mandir, Sunflag, Gadaipur 1-2, Salempur, Fazilpur, D.I.C. 1-2, BSNL, Baba Mohan Das Nagar, Baba Vishwakarma, Water Supply, New Laxmi, Udyog Nagar, Canal No. 1, Kalia Colony, Randhawa Masanda, Raipur Road, Bedi, K.C., Cold Store, Newcon and Mohke.
This shutdown will affect power supply in Focal Point Industries, Swarn Park, Raja Garden, Udyog Nagar, Bulandpur Road, Industrial Area, Kalia Colony, Randhawa Masanda and nearby localities.
Residents and industrial units in these areas are advised to plan accordingly.
