He said in one of his innings Rahul said, “Though Dhoni has made many memorable innings there is one inning that will always leave a positive impact on the upcoming generations.”

This inning was made by Dhoni in the final match that India played in Mumbai against Sri Lanka, in this match, Dhoni scored 91 runs in only 79 balls, which included 8 fours and 2 sixes. The victory of this match totally depended on Dhoni and Gambhir. Gambhir made 97 innings and Dhoni made 91 innings in this match. It was only after this match that India won the World Cup after 28 years in 2011.
