Know who is Jagroop Singh alias Roopa; the gangster killed in Amritsar Police's encounter

Jagroop Singh alias Roopa was an associate of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

Encounter Sihdu-Moosewala-Murder Jagdeep-Singh-Roopa
In an encounter, Punjab Police killed two gangsters, Manpreet Mannu and Jagdeep Singh Roopa. Two of the gangsters were suspects in singer Sidhu Moosewala's murder. 

Jagroop Singh alias Roopa was an associate of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Roopa belonged from Jaura Village, Punjab. His father is a farmer and his mother is a homemaker. 

During school, Jagroop fell into bad company and started consuming drugs. Later, he left his studies and start working at a motorcycle agency. 
Due to his drug addiction, he started selling his household items to get money. He often demanded money from his mother, but when she refused he snatched money from her by beating her or pulling her hair. 

Due to his addiction to drugs, he indulged in crimes like assaults, snatching, attempting to murder and more. 

He has around more than 15 cases registered against him. Earlier in April 2022, police raided his house after getting the information that he and his associates supply drugs and several illegal weapons. but Jagroop fled away with his aide. The police seized some illegal weapons from his house. 

His name then came up in the Sidhu Moosewala murder. Some assailants killed Moosewala in Mansa. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Sachin Bishnoi and Goldy Brar took the responsibility of the murder. After the police investigation, they suspected the involvement of 8 sharpshooters in the murder. This includes the name of Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh Mannu along with 6 others.

There was also Jagroop's mother interview, in which she said that if Jagroop's name is involved in Sidhu's murder, he should be shot dead. 

Today in the encounter with Punjab Police, the police killed Jagroop Singh Roopa along with his companion Manpreet Singh Mannu.
